When you use FileMorph, we collect the following information:

• Account information: Email address and password when you create an account.
• Payment information: Processed securely by Stripe. We never store your credit card details on our servers.
• Usage data: Conversion metadata, credit usage, and general analytics (page views, feature usage).
• Uploaded files: Files you upload for conversion are temporary and are deleted after processing or after the short download window. We do not retain your files.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the file conversion service.
• To process payments and manage your credit balance.
• To send transactional emails (purchase confirmations, account notifications).
• To improve our service through aggregated, anonymized analytics.
• To respond to support requests.

3. File Processing & Data Retention

FileMorph is temporary by design. Server files are deleted after processing and downloads expire automatically.

Files uploaded for conversion are processed in memory or temporary storage and are automatically deleted after processing or after the short download window. We do not store, analyze, share, or use your files for any purpose other than performing the requested conversion.

Jobs labeled as browser conversion are processed entirely in your browser. Your files never leave your device for those operations. Jobs labeled as server conversion are uploaded only to perform the requested conversion, and only conversion metadata may remain after cleanup.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Stripe: Payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Supabase: Authentication and database. Subject to Supabase's Privacy Policy.
• Vercel: Hosting. Subject to Vercel's Privacy Policy.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and authentication state. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), encrypted tokens for sensitive operations, and secure authentication through Supabase Auth. Payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe and never touches our servers.

You have the right to:

• Access and download your personal data.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Opt out of non-essential communications.
